Remixin’
Created with cinemagr.am
Over the past few months, we’ve seen our users point their iPhones at TVs and computer screens wanting to create cines (pronounced “cinnies”) from their favorite TV shows, music videos, movies, sporting events, etc. So, we figured why not provide users with this content directly from its source?
Enter a new feature called Remix.
As you know, Cinemagram lets you create moving photos (both emotionally and literally) by simply filming a short video or uploading one, identifying the part of the image that you want to move, and then applying a beautiful filter.
Today, users will find studio-produced short video clips from the following partners that they can remix and create cines with. For the first time, users can engage, interact, and be creative with official video content in a way that has never existed before. Companies want more exposure for their video content. For example, an upcoming movie release, official music video launch, live concerts, sports, etc. We view cines as tweets for videos and therefore potentially a unique opportunity for Cinemagram to achieve their goals. We’re really excited to be working with these large partners and a bunch more coming soon.
Remix is in beta trials featuring the following select partners.
